CTS hosts Scott Hahn in London
Renowned Catholic author speaks to capacity crowd in Mayfair
The Catholic Truth Society (CTS) was delighted to host renowned US speaker Scott Hahn on Friday 31st October, talking to a capacity crowd at Farm Street Church in Mayfair. Dr Hahn delivered this year’s CTS Lecture, on the subject of the Liturgy, and in particular exploring the links between the celebration of the Mass and the drama of the Lamb of the Book of Revelation. In his lecture, entitled “The Lamb’s Supper” like his best-selling book of the same name, Dr Hahn drew on the story of his own conversion to the Catholic faith (he was previously a Presbyterian minister) and his deep knowledge of Scripture to give his listeners a profound and fresh perspective on the meaning of the last book of the Bible, and on the mysteries of the Mass in which we participate.
The crowd of 550 rewarded Dr Hahn for his inspiring and entertaining talk with a standing ovation.
