Year for Priests 2009 - 2010

Pope Benedict XVI has decreed a Year for Priests running for 1 year from Friday 19 June 2009 (Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the death of St Jean Vianney (the Curé of Ars and patron of parish priests).

This is an opportunity for all the Church to renew its support for and love of the ministerial priesthood, and to pray for priests and for priestly vocations.

CTS is pleased to support the Pope in promoting understanding of the priesthood and prayer for our priests.
